CarPark Planting After Sun and Rain

Even drought tolerant shrubs require watering in spring to establish.

As I planted up the carpark scheme during the driest April for sixty years, I had to go on site to water for a few days for a couple of weeks. The shrubs are all fairly drought tolerant, but the soil was bone dry, and the root systems really need a helping hand in the first few weeks. With some much needed rain and warm sunshine the plants are now thriving, however I need to go back and pull up the inevitable weeds in the next few days.
