You may think your garden is low maintenance, but I have found that with work, family and other commitments many people just don’t have the time for all those essential jobs such as pruning, weeding, digging and planting.
Around where I live, particularly SE19, SE20, SE26 and BR3, many residents have beautiful and large mature gardens. These require regular maintenance to ensure that the plants display blooms and foliage to their full, beautiful potential, and are kept robust and healthy for the next growing season.
Coming up to autumn is a great time to think about rejuvenating your garden for next year. Pruning, mulching, dividing, new additions or a whole new planting scheme, border or patio redesign – I can help you with all aspects, especially the often requested low maintenance shrubs.
My planting designs emphasise interest all year – with blossom, flowers, berries, stems, bark and winter blooms. All planting is carefully considered to encourage pollinators and other wildlife. I am keen to recycle and reuse materials where possible, and integrate any design schemes in harmony with the surrounding environment. I also avoid using harmful pesticides and herbicides, though do occasionally use commercial plant and lawn feeds. A garden’s suitability for pets and children is considered, where appropriate.
