that I have worked on or just noticed locally. The warm dry spring has brought pretty much everything out early. Honeysuckle on a main road in Penge; The ceanothus benefited from my pruning last autumn; Pretty hop, rose and clematis bower in same garden; Wonderful poppies out now; fantastic orange azalea display; White and yellow irises in a neighbouring sunny front garden; Alliums, snapdragons (antirrhiunum) and acanthus a few doors down, and a sumac tree just coming into leaf.
